Welcome Message

 Greetings

I am pleased to announce that I will be hosting the 13th Annual Meeting of the Asian Organization for Crohn's and Colitis (AOCC) in July 2025. AOCC was established in 2013 with the aim of advancing the care of patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in Asia. Currently, AOCC includes 12 countries/regions in Asia and is recognized worldwide as the representative IBD community in Asia. The number of IBD patients in Asia is rapidly increasing. Additionally, the number of treatments for IBD is increasing year by year, making the appropriate use of these medications increasingly important. Amidst these rapid changes in the management of IBD in Asia, AOCC plays a vital role in research, education, and human interaction related to IBD in the region.
The 13th Annual Meeting of AOCC will be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, from July 10 to 12, 2025. It will be attended by over 1,000 stakeholders involved in the management of IBD patients from various countries in Asia, where the latest scientific knowledge on IBD will be presented and discussed. Educational activities related to IBD will also take place. Additionally, the meeting will provide an opportunity for participants to interact face-to-face. We have chosen the theme "One Asia, United for Healing IBD" with the expectation that all stakeholders involved in IBD in Asia will come together and face IBD together. I am confident that this scientific meeting will significantly contribute to the advancement of the management of IBD in Asia.
We earnestly seek your participation for this scientific meeting, aligning with the purpose and spirit of contributing to the advancement of the care of IBD patients in Asia, which is the goal of the 13th Annual Meeting of AOCC. I sincerely hope you will join us.

See you in Chiba in 2025!
